Frigate Bird

I did this on the flight back from Belize, still thinking about the Frigate Birds.

Agouti

I just realized I haven't posted any of the drawings I did in Belize. This must have been one of the quickest, but I think I like it the most. The Agouti are native rodents, about an even split between rat and rabbit.

Noodle Nose

This guy is the result of a speed sculpt in Zbrush, which I rendered and brought into Photoshop to color and add detail. As a proof-of-concept I thing it worked well.

There's something about this quicky I really like. It looks a lot like Mignolia's "little people", which I really like... so, yeah. Lets call this an hommage, ok?

Grape Ape

After a stretch of no-posting, I've decided to post stuff that's pretty sketchy. Hence, Grape Ape here. I'm trying to develop a look that's quick to get down, but still reads well.

Did this one and the Troll the night before last when I woke up at 5 am.
